First Honor Awarded certificate, 1863 August 5.

"First Honor" award certificate (General Order No. 64) with holograph notes regarding Fry's term of service and the engagements he participated in. Fry's regiment was entitled to the honor because it had "planted its colors on the parapet, and suffered the greatest relative loss" (43.3%).
